There may have been trouble in Brooke Mueller and Charlie Sheen’s paradise for some time now.
According to a source close to Mueller’s family, the couple’s marriage was on the rocks long before an alleged domestic violence incident Friday morning in Aspen, Colo.
“Brooke and Charlie have had many fights during their short marriage over his insistence on staying home and never wanting to go out,” the source said.
Mueller, a real estate investor, and the actor married in May, after their engagement in July 2007. She gave birth to twin boys, Max and Rob, in March.
Trouble was brewing soon after they wed, the source said: “Brooke said right … after their wedding that she was ‘so bored’ and revealed to pals she wasn’t sure how long they’d last.”
