Charice to Play as Filipino Student on Glee

CHARICE will enroll at McKinley High as a Filipino exchange student this fall for the sophomore season of the hit US TV musical Glee.

In a recent interview with ABS-CBN (Philippines), the pop star revealed that she will portray her own nationality in the series as she demanded from the producers.

After her successful show in Korea, Charice is currently in the Philippines for a three-day show as a part of her Asian tour. Her next stop is Japan (July 18-21); Thailand (July 22-23); and Malaysia (July 24-26).

Charice will fly black to USA after her Asian tour to prepare and start the taping for some episodes of Glee, which will begin airing on September 20 at 8:00-9:00 PM on Fox.
