Charice Tops GMA 7 Poll For Top 10 Filipino Personalities

Charice topped GMA 7 Twitter poll for top 10 Filipino personalities  in the year 2010. The Filipina pop star garnered 40.13% of the votes with boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao  in the second place having 23.57%.

Charice rose to fame after being discovered by Oprah Winfrey and later on worked  with producer David Foster. Her debut album Charice got the 8th spot on the Billboard 200 during its release and its carrier single Pyramid became a hit and reached the number one spot on the Billboard Dance Chart. 

She currently plays the role of Sunshine Corazon, a Filipino exchange student, on the multi-awarded TV series Glee.
