Eight members from team Apl and Sarah flaunted their singing abilities on
The Voice's live show today, February 7. Viewers had the chance to vote in favor of their most loved singers and go places with them to the following round.
The first artist to perform was team Apl's
Alisah Bonaobra, who offered her performance of the song
Laserlight, to her grandfather. This was followed by the performance of
Daryl Ong, who dedicated the song
Smile to his dad.
Suy Galvez sang
Bridge Over Troubled Waters for her family. Finally,
Mackie Cao dedicated the song
Maghintay Ka Lamang to her special someone.
At last, Daryl got the most number of votes in Team Apl from the general voting population with 31.16%, while Alisah came next with 28.25%. Between Suy and Mackie, Coach Apl decided to spare Mackie from elimination, making Suy say goodbye to the competition.
In the mean time, team Sarah's
Kokoi Baldo, who misses his home island Boracay, performed
Could You Be Loved, while
Jason Fernandez, who imparted how dear his family is to him, sang
Moves Like Jagger.
Jason Dy demonstrated how skilled he is in singing with his performance of
O.M.G.,while
Monique Lualhati, who was taught by her dad to sing, had her mentor giving her an overwhelming applause with her execution of
Bang Bang.
At last, Kokoi Baldo got the most astounding number of votes in Team Sarah with 41.61% of the votes while Monique Lualhati emulated with 25.26%. Between the two Jasons, Coach Sarah decided to spare Jason Dy.
