Charice: Newly crowned Pop Princess

Charice, a singer from the Philippines whose popularity skyrocketed through YouTube is now one of the hottest and most admired teen singer in this generation. New York Post has recently crowned her the new Pop Princess, a title that Britney Spears once had.

After the success of her first US single 'Note to God' which was originally sung by Jojo, Charice made another hit with the release of her second international single 'Pyramid' along with the six DJ remixes in late February. Since then, the song made its way up to the Top 50 Billboard Hot Dance/Club Chart.

Pyramid is now inavading the airwaves and it is played in major radio stations around the world. Both teens and teens at heart love it. The song is very refreshing and unique among the newly released pop songs by ithe artists. Pyramid is a part of her upcoming US debut album of the same title to be released on May 11 this year.

With her fame skyrocketing, Charice is now the new Pop Princess. Another star to invade the interantional music industry with her powerful voice that reduced both Oprah and Ellen de Generes.

There's so much to wait for this young versatile Diva. She has been compared to Whitney Houston, Celine Dion and Beyonce because of her extraordinary pipe thay if you'll just listen you won't belive that it comes from a petite girl.
