Charice's Philippines manager, Grace Mendoza, has been fired for spreading a false and pre-mature announcement on her appearance on the popular American TV musical show Glee.

In the report of Philippines Daily Inquirer (PDI), Mendoza expressed her emotion being treated unfair about the issue. "It hurts. I was not a bad manager," she said.

"Now, I'm jobless," Mendoza added. Charice's mother, Raquel Pempengco, who also handles her career posted on her facebook page that she is now looking for a new local handler for his daughter's career in her home country, the Philippines.

Mendoza reportedly confirmed to one of PDI's entertainment writers, Pocholo Concepcion, that Charice will soon be joinig Glee not just as a guest but as part of the cast. The latter then reported the information as a breaking news on the paper's online site which also came to the knowledge of other entertainment writers and bloggers who relayed the same information online.

Charice's US team started to get alarmed and worried with the issue as this might affect her career. Her US manager, Marc Johnston, then sent an official statement denying the rumor. The Filipina singer herself posted an announcement on Twitter that there's no truth about the news. She confirmed that she's not joining nor appearing on Glee, but she wishes to.

Rumors then started to spread there is some truth to the report despite the denials. However, in an e-radio interview, Charice's publicist Liz Rosenberg also denied that Charice will be joining Glee and this is just a rumor.
