Paul Gray dead at 38

PAUL Gray, Slipknot's bassist, died was found dead in his hotel room in Urbandale, Iowa on Monday, May 24. He was 38.

Gray has also been known as #2 and The Pig because of the mask he wore during the band's performances.  He was the only bass player Slipknot ever had.

Initial investigations revealed no foul play is suspected in Gray's death, though further investigations and examinations are still conducted to determine the accurate cause of his death.

Gray left his wife behind, Brenna Paul, who is expecting a child.
